Announcing New Testing and Surveillance Program

Post by modern17 » Tue May 17, 2016 1:31 pm

OMAFRA & The Animal Health Lab in Guelph Ontario have asked me push out the information on a new Small Flock Subsidized Surveillance Program being offered by them. Please see the flyer below for more info. It is a great resource point at a greatly discounted rate for most all forms of testing .Please read the flyer and visit the website.. I am only the messenger.. questions should be directed to them not me...lol.... Also please find a resource booklet put out by Merck on Important Poultry Diseases. Also a great resource guide.
Good news for a change.

It's unfortunate that they require the submission to be made by a veterinarian: I think that will be inhibitive to a lot of people.

You need to list your vet ... as a consultant for treatment ( follow up) .. Just for everyones info.. it has started and will be completely implicated by fall of 2017.. you will not be able to get much more than vitamins over the counter for anything poultry related.... everything will be by prescription by a vet .... just a prelude to what is coming .... the getting cosy with a vet now idea ,is in everones best interest now...
just an opinion .
