#62 really is a witch!

Post by Killerbunny » Sun Aug 05, 2018 7:23 pm

SO I keep the Mums in dog pens for the first week. Found a poult outside killed and I had my suspicions. I caught this girl this am trying to attack Kathleen through the pen wire. I just heard poults screaming and caught her pecking at and trying to pull them through the wire in a very unfriendly fashion. Darned shame as she was going to a great home but I am going to cull her tomorrow, don't want to unload this problem on anyone else. She was on her second chance after the judge liked her at Odessa. It's bad enough trying to get the younger group to leave them alone but this hen is odd!

Well fortunately for her, the new home wants to give her another chance so I'm trying to get her to stay in a separate pen with Freddie the 2nd Tom. So if anyone is headed to the London area in the next few weeks (before the OPB show) and can transport her, please let me know.

well I am happy to report that after a stay in a separate pen she is being well behaved on her return to the general pop. I hope that doesn't jinx it!

Is she related to #2 at all? Two fixates on weird things and attacks them until she gets a time out for a couple of days. Then she's fine for awhile, then picks something else as 'evil". Last time, it was flip flops. Currently it seems to be the colour navy blue.
