guineafowl attack at night?

Will guineafowl attack rats or predators at night? I noticed since i got them, left over feed is never eating by anything.

I don't think so, more likely they put the fear of god into them during the day, so they were too scared to come out at night. When my guinea fowl were killed always happened at night, like the chickens they sleep pretty sound at night.
