Miss Bossy's egg
Miss Bossy's egg
Miss Bossy is in isolation for a while for pecking the other hens. Her run adjoins the main run with no access to the coop. I put an up-turned wheelbarrow/cart in her run to give her shade and to keep the food dry if it rained. Look where she laid her egg!

Re: Miss Bossy's egg
You put some straw back there and that is an ideal setting spot. Shade, privacy, protected three sides, she can set and look out, just ideal for a broodie mom. Not that she is or isn't broodie, but that is just the place.

Re: Miss Bossy's egg
Farrier is right. I should add some straw! She laid another egg in the same spot today :).
