ONE lousy egg has caused all this drama!

Post by Poultryprincess » Sat Jun 11, 2016 8:31 pm

One of my young EE hens was limping.
Brought her to "Sick Bay" ( my sewing room ) to watch her.
Next day she laid an egg & seemed fine on her leg.
I put her with the flock @ nite & forgot about the entire issue.

CRAZY CRAZY Hen is now banging her head against the glass doors trying to get in the house!!!
She goes from 1 glass door to another ( we have 7 patio doors! )
This is her @ the screen door - LOL
It is Constant & it's been almost a week since she was in the house :sAng_banghead:

Haha open the door & see what she does . Probably when she finds NO food & cuddles she'll go back where the grass is really green .!! Luck

Wish that was true ross ~ but alas it is False!
The other day I was washing the dishes & thought "gosh those chickens sound awefully close"
I turned around & they are standing there in the LR "Looking" @ me.
Since then they have Appeared a few times in the LR & I have to chase them out.
Told DH it's time to fix the ripped screen door...cause the birds have figured it out!
They have NO fear, & feel Entitled to be anywhere we are - LOL

Ha! Ha! Love her looking in the window, you have obviously brought out the intelligence and caricature of your chickens, which many people believe they have none.

I had one hen who found out how to open the screen door to the kitchen if it wasn't locked shut. She would put her beak in the corner edge and steadily work it open very quietly.
