Egg Eater??
its frustrating isnt it Colleen! sometimes the simplest solution may not be the easiest and maybe there is a reason but man you dont want other hens learning this behavior either. personally I like my burger meat between 2 buns and grilled on an open fire. mmmmm hmmmm.
That's the best kind Ross! we had a turkey soup for supper and the chunks of meat were just that.... huge chunks! mmmmmm yum!
man I love food and home grown is the best!

It's interesting that chickens or poultry as a whole are one of two species world wide who we eat before there born & after they die . Luck

Egg Eater??
There may be hope for Penelope after all
I was trying to think of what was different from last year
Her nest now is on floor and I put a few PCs of 2x4 in front to keep shavings in nest
She had to step over the wood to get into her nest
I'm wondering if when stepping over and into nest she is breaking the eggs?
She is quite a clumsy girl. Lol
Took wood away. Gave her 2 eggs to see how she does today
