Roosting?

Post by muffin57 » Tue Apr 12, 2016 2:50 pm

Thanks guys. My husband is making the brooder in the coop this coming weekend, so I will share this info with him and show him your pics OC. My chicks are almost 2 weeks old and the other day, one of them jumped up on top of the small plastic water container for a moment.

Roosting?

The roosts have bins under them when there are adult birds in the pen, taken out so the chicks wouldn't fall in to them.
The hinges allow for lifting of the roosts for easy clean out, or lowering for growing youngsters. :)
