Wanted. Dead Or Alive?
As people have been saying you can sell farm gate chicken eggs for eating to people if they come to your place and buy them. The only advertising you can legally do is put a sign up at your property. A lot of people advertise online, which is technically not allowed, but nothing seems to be done abo...

My daughters and I hung a few buckets out back the house after school today. Monday morning my high school students will be hard at work cleaning buckets and then tapping. Weather is suppose to warm up quick, hopefully the nights will be a little cooler than forecast, next 2 weeks most nights here f...

Calf hutch and a few ducks
I know nothing about ducks, except that I really want Mandarin ducks, but have decided not to get ducks. Anyways just some food for thought and maybe is really not an issue???.... but having your captive ducks visit the local river would greatly increase their exposure to wild bird pathogens, especi...

WLL is right, get the birds processed at a licensed processor with the proper paperwork (form 300) and then you can sell the birds to the general public, no problem. Technically speaking if you processed the birds at your place, you can't even give them away, because the dead chicken can't leave you...

Have you ever tried beaver butt?
I agree I would eat some beaver butt or other synthetic chemicals. In my high school chemistry class, we don't eat beaver butt, those we might be cooking up seal meat in my Outdoor Studies class this year, anyways when I am teaching organic chemistry I bring in Smarties for the students to eat. Then...

Awesome baby turkey congrats!!! Sandy, I know nothing about broody hens, but when I use to breed python snakes, they don't normally eat during breeding season, plus females often do not eat when gravid (pregnant) and if you let a female python incubate her eggs they do not eat at all when incubating...
