The mother has to feed to be able to make milk and wants the baby safe. She "parks" them in a safe spot and goes to feed, then comes back for them. Good luck with it. I have tried this rescue stuff with newly hatched, and it mostly doesnt work out and leads to great disappointment. I know it is sort of hard hearted, but I kind of let nature do its thing for the first 24 hrs, with the mother hen. Most make it, a few don't, but it works best for ...
