Or the same government saying different things:
March 12 - go, enjoy March break!
March 14: close public schools
And then lockdown a few days later.

Re: Giving away eggs - risk of getting sued?
I'm not sure if anyone here would tell you that it will never happen. There is always a chance for everything in live. If you are worried, why don't you 1) candle the eggs you are giving away, so you know there are no blood spots 2) put some of the eggs layed from before in your own food 3) eat some...

Re: Just for a chuckle...
My last few mornings: 1) checking out the news and getting my daily dose of "shake head" when I read what the clown south of us suggests now as a cure :idunno:  2) getting my update on the latest conspiracy theory in the "other" thread on PTO.  3) coming here to get my dose of laug...

A lot of people are understanding that fresh food in a grocery store is not a given. Veseys is not accepting seed orders anymore. Too many orders....

Re: Coronavirus - how much do you worry ?
i well remember those mortgage rates and in the UK they were variable too so you really didn't know how much each month. Mortgages there were also very difficult to get at the time. I don't see that one coming at all. The big difference between the spending in past economic downturns is that this t...

Re: Coronavirus - how much do you worry ?
I think that a forecast of economic effects being recovered only by second quarter of 2022 is quite a long forecast.

Re: Coronavirus - how much do you worry ?
Personally I'm still more concerned on the economic factors this will cause. I still think it will lead to much greater pain and suffering than the virus. Yesterday crude oil sold for minus $37 a barrel. They paid people to take it. Why are there no models showing what economic fall out will be. Lo...

Re: Turkey vulture
We've never had issues with vultures at all. Even the chickens ignore them now. Same with Bald Eagles.
We have one nest on one side of the property and the other in the other ravine. Lots flying over all the time. Chickens don't care. Guineans do, but they are "special" birds.

Re: Coronavirus - how much do you worry ?
What does it enable u do ? So why test seems like a waste of time & resources two scenarios: one is trying to reduce the spread. So if you assume (!) that one spreads the virus for 10 days between getting it and becoming symptomatic and testing positive. THEN one can go back to the social interacti...
