Yeeha its cold, start the car and drive down the road... something wrong...get out...something smells... handbrake frozen! Drive it another 100m to a local shop.. Great he's gone until Tuesday. So call my dad for a lift.. Gotta borrow a car for the weekend....

I've heard stories (but haven't been there when it happens) of grouse at the top of a population cycle..and in a fairly remote place.... so plentiful you could hit them with a stick... my brother shot 100 one autumn, he said teens on 4 wheelers would get 200 or 300 in a season.
