Re: Eggs???
Me too, no eggs for quite a while now and not expecting any from the new one or the new ducks until spring. The Wyandottes are laying less than an egg a week between them for some reason since summer. Miranda was broody then moulting then the cold dark weather. Last winter they produced an egg a day...

Re: Hen apron with snap closures
That doesn’t look hard to make. In fact, it looks like a good use for one of those burned potholders everyone has. Just attach suspenders. If someone could just trace the outline and either send it to me actual size or post it here with dimensions, I will try to make some up.

Re: Animal products website
I have bought Flea/tick (Bravecto) for the dogs from them. You need to get your vet to fax in prescriptions. My vet at the time gave me trouble, requiring visits for heartworm tests first (money grab #1) and then a prescription-writing fee of $15 per prescription per pet (money grab #2) before coope...

I’ve heard khaki Campbells and now have some ducklings, but runners are hard to beat. Mine laid an egg a day each, beautiful blue-green they were, and amazingly delicious. They looked meaty, and whatever ate them no doubt found the delicious.RIP Happy, Charlie, and Elfie.

Sorry about Deanie, Jaye I have a question. Do your chickens fly? I didn’t think mine did, but yesterday, while I was bent over at the duckling coop, Millie came flying from across the yard and landed on my back. The hilarious thing was she let out a blood-curdling eeee-yah! Like a ninja as she did ...

Sorry for your loss, Tom, and your heartbreak. Thanks to you, Otis had the best life a dog could have, and a cozy place in your heart ever after. Lucky dog! My husband’s cardiologist said, when his beloved dog died, that for his next pet, he’d be getting a tortoise, something that would outlive him,...

Re: Good Morning!
Having a lazy Sunday. I’m lazy all the time but on Sunday I don’t feel guilty about it. Sitting in the tree with my cuddliest chicken, reading a book. Poor girl is lonely since the other Polish got killed and the two Wyandottes are broody or something. They aren’t laying eggs and they sit in the emp...
