My New Favourite Plants

I got these tubers back in June... voodoo bulbs.jpg Amorphophallus konjac, the Voodoo Lily and Amorphophallus henryi, Henry's Voodoo Lily. These two plants are closely related to the Corpse Flower, Amorphophallus titanum. They are tropical plants but die off at the end of the growing season, sprouti...

Re: Good Morning!

Good evening I haven't been here for awhile I hope everyone is well as can be. I hope you can get things fixed up soon WLLady. Not much new here, I kind of bit of more than I could chew as I was recovering from my double bypass so in the end most of my garden and bird projects did not really do very...

Re: Good Morning!

My rhubarb is barely growing here for some reason, not sure what is going on. Too hot for my liking today, so only doing the bare minimum here today... feeding and watering. Picked up my boat today from Spring tuneup, so fishing soon!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun, but staying cool.

Re: Incubating 2020

Best of luck with the hatch, glad you seemed to have gotten the humidity under control.

I do not believe the male chicks will have a white dot on their head, I do no think you will be able to tell the boys from the girls as chicks. I could be wrong though.

Re: Incubating 2020

Best of luck with the hatch. With the cross you did with the barred rock rooster all the chicks should be barred.

Just finished changing oil in lawn tractor so I can cut the grass soon, before it gets too crazy. I have been leaving the lawn alone for bees can feed on the dandelions, b...
