It is approx. 1 dollar per watt. The min. size battery is 9 kW which would cost approx 9k and after that you can add smaller batteries depending on what you need to carry you over until the sun comes up again. Thing with gas is Oil cost $160/barrel after Katriona and up north it was $1.40 per litre. This is nothing to do with sanctions and supply chain! you are right...its a scam and i am cynical enough to sound like a conspiracy theory idiot....but the gas thing has been a sore point with me for years.....
