Re: Mice control
I seem to have an extra large amount of mice this year. Last year it was flymageddon, lucky for me this year not many flies. The mouse trap video is not working. I was thinking about making the water bucket trap but the thought of them slowly drowning bothers me, I must be getting soft in my old age...

Re: Unnerving.
That's terrible KB, sorry to hear that. Once when a friend of mine was robbed, the police told her that 90% of the time it's someone that you know or was tipped off by someone you know. When I was twelve my dad had heart surgery and while we were away things were stolen. Many were certain farm items...

Re: HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Yes happy thanksgiving everyone!
I'm thankful that today my mom is able to join us for a thanksgiving dinner, over the last month she had become so ill, that I told my closest friends I thought we were going to lose her. Now everything has reversed and she is doing well!
What are you thankful for?

Unnerving.
I got home from work last night late, I forgot to leave any lights on but everything was fine. This morning a guy stopped in looking for my neighbour's phone number. They use the house as a cottage, there is a heavy steel gate that stops you from driving in their lane when they are away and boulders...

Re: Good Morning!
Ottawa "relocates" their large wildlife "rescues" in Outaouais, I bet you are glad to hear that @Skinny rooster We have many many stories about that OC. The funniest I heard was from an elderly man near Chesterville, he said since people in Ottawa say not to harm raccoons, he live traps them and le...

Alfred auction & McDonald's Corners fair/show
I believe that the IPBA auction is tomorrow, that's the one in Alfred.
I also think tomorrow there is a poultry show at the McDonald's Corners fair, Saturday only from what I understand.

Re: 2018 how did your garden grow?
Well thanks to the unusual warm weather, instead of the garden being finished by first week of September, I was out last Saturday harvesting a second wave of tomatoes, green peppers, burgundy beans, watermelon and honeydew melons. I pulled everything up because I'm done with the garden, I don't want...

Re: Somebody has bee shopping around the chicken coop
I'm an hour north of you OC and we still have hawks around, I don't know what they are called but I named them, the big ones that eat chickens, the little ones that eat chickens, the flying in circles ones that eat chickens and the sneaky drop suddenly out of the trees to eat chickens ones.
