Re: Good Morning 2024

Love those howlers! We have a chocolate lab who used to howl a lot. Our previous dog would howl along with her, and we all thought it was funny and sometimes we joined in. The latest lab addition hates the howling, and now our choccy lab has stopped. So sad :(.

Re: Aerogarden

No problem with the dogs eating the veggies - so far :). The AG's are on the counter, but my Kratky jars are on the ground. The dogs like to raid the veggie garden in the summer for peppers and tomatoes.

There certainly are lots of choices at Amazon. The trick is to find an Aerogarden on sale.

Re: Aerogarden

OC Well done with the Rosemary! I used to love the smell, and was always tempted to buy one shaped like a Christmas tree, but I had a few bushes at our place down south so I resisted. You can actually root cuttings in water. Not all of them took, but I had luck with a few of them. I haven't had much...

Re: Aerogarden

I don't know why this site only tells me of new messages in "general". I probably have it set wrong :(. Sorry that your sprouting jars didn't work out Killerbunny. I've tried growing microgreens on a thin layer of Promix under a grow light. It needs to be sprayed with water every day, but so far I'v...

Aerogarden

Does anyone have an Aerogarden? I always thought they were expensive units for growing lettuce, but I broke down and bought one on Amazon's Black Friday sale, and two more after that. Then I got into the Kratky method of hydroponics (I'm using mason jars). It's an addictive, but fun hobby for the wi...

Aerogarden

I bought an Aerogarden "Harvest" on Black Friday and planted some lettuce. I didn't want to grow the herbs that came with it, especially the mint, thyme and dill. (I'll probably grow the two-varieties of basil one day). Anyway, the lettuce all germinated quickly and it seems like fun. Does anyone el...

Re: Good Morning - 2023

WLLady Phew! All that work you did sounds exhausting! Toby sounds amazing. If he likes to chase toys and is a bit of a chewer, he may like an amazing toy that holds up to Amber (heavy duty chewer) and is her favourite. What is more, it only costs $4 from Dollarama! (She actually prefers the red ones...
