Thanks Kenya & Jaye. I'm glad to hear that he just sounds like a normal rooster, he guards his girls well and he is always good with people - It definitely crossed my mind that I could trade him in and end up with one that is meaner. I'll make or buy some hen saddles asap and hopefully in a few week...

My Rooster is rough on my hens, one hen has no tail left at all and another has a lot of feathers missing on her back and the back of her head.
