Re: If a wild turkey tom is displaying...
We get groups of Toms too that display to each other to establish dominance. However - your roosters do display to you so I have to wonder...... I hope it's not me.......;) He is still hanging around and although I find his displays mildly attractive, the dog not so much. I hope this isn't another ...

Ok Ok, I was watching, but not a hen anywhere in sight, sorry about the picture quality, but by the time I remembered there was a camera in my pocket he has spotted me and deflated rapidly, but until then it was a pretty elaborate dance :) Wild turkey 1...

Re: Good Morning!
I am going to take the eggs to Mill Pond Hatchery and have them hatch for me, they set the eggs on each Wednesday only 30 cent an egg to hatch. It is a 2 hour drive from my work but hope it will be worth it. I am really curious how the Mill Pond Hatchery works out for you, I am hoping to give them ...

Re: Pinless Peepers ?
Not as much as I would like, I am pretty sure Chunky is bigger. Bob got chunky's brother a bit smaller then Chunky, but still bigger then Mack, but the Columbians even with the outcross tend to be smaller. Definitely better chest then I have seen in a long time, at 11 month he weighs in at 3.5 KG a ...

Re: Pinless Peepers ?
Well, here is my completely unscientific report based on entirely too small a group without a control, but here goes. Mack the Man back in with the now bespectacled hens only one hen lost her peepers, rest are still wearing them, which is pretty surprising. Painted Mack's comb with Blue Kote, just i...
