Ross's ideal sounds good. For your size of coop 12 square feet, I would think even 8 birds is a lot, unless they are out all day every day and just sleeping in the coop. @Rossman as mentioned I can probably get you eggs from my BC marans and my friend's legbars, but probably not chicks, or at least not for awhile. Cream Legbars are autosexing so you can sex them at hatch. BC marans usually need to be at least a month old before you can sex them.
