Re: PTO PikNik 2016
We could bring a race horse for some "exciting" pony rides..... riders would need to sign a waiver form prior to getting a leg up.

Re: Coyotes
Not a bad question at all Colleen. Wolf and coyote prints are more oval in shape than the typical dog print that is more round. As well, coyotes, fox, wolves tend to travel at a walk/ trot that is in relatively straight lines while dogs tend to meander around more.

Re: Coyotes
Our eastern coyotes are hybrids that have taken on more of the size and packing up traits of wolves, while remaining bolder and more adaptable like typical coyotes. Through the '90's I did a lot of coyote hunting with good friends of mine who always had a kennel of excellent fox hounds. These guys (...

Re: Tried wood pellets for bedding- bad idea.
The horse pellets are really best used in moderation for horses- simply to absorb urine and be easily forked out. I used the flax hulls for a litter of puppies and was VERY pleased with the performance, but they are a bit slippery to walk on. I use low dust wood shavings for the birds- same as what ...

Seeking first hand advice
Hi folks, I'm trying to decide on a smaller incubator to purchase. Something in the 20 egg capacity range. Must be able to handle chicken and duck eggs. Quality, automated and "bang for the buck" are the rest of my criteria. Seems the prices are ranging from $150- $300ish. Problem is, I don't have a...

I don't have first hand knowledge about the other sites that SM listed, but Emily has 2 separate beaches, canoe rentals and a tuck shop that has most of the essentials including ice.

Re: performance Poultry
I plan on buying from Performance this year, even though it's a bit of a hike for me. I had a little personal dance party when I saw that their ordering will be open soon. Looking at Chanteclers and Barnevelders for sure...I wish they had Speckled Sussex! If she's made the jump from PSO to PTO, Gre...
