I wonder if PTO would be able to persuade a Qualified poultry Judge to comment on birds displayed by PTO members?
This is from an Ausie Forum and seems like if would be a fun learning experience?

Hydro Rates

26930 Funny one side note: Japan had huge issues in winter 2014/2015 with LED traffic lights. Blowing snow would stick to them and not melt due to low energy consumption. The law of unintended consequences. Soo, Ottawa has started to replace street lights with LED's as needed and new installations,...

Good morning, Love the ball game/turkey combo travel plans, you guys make my mornings. :) Looks rainy here, had to convince DH to let everybody out, he thought it might rain ? I need them all to cut grass now that it's actually growing. Good day to put in garlic, only planting about 150 didn't grow ...

Ameraucana - Blue, Black and Splash discussion

I think lots of problems with Breeding Blues arises from people looking for a simple recipe of "How to" and of course there isn't one, because what might work for one person and one strain will not necessarily work with another. I have had very good success using Splash cockerel over Blue hens in Wy...

26677 You're right OC. The 21st Century Breeding book doesn't have a lot about breeding blue, just the basics of how the genes work. As far as getting lovely birds from OC, I don't see an easy way to do that. I'll just have to keep looking at them in the pictures she posts for inspiration. :) I thi...
