Crazy Wind yesterday. Shingles off the house, door off the shop. Lots of little damaged, but incubator and critters all good. In spite of the Crazy weather yesterday, things are awesome!!! Hydro has been out for a while. I dug out a small generator to run the incubator and brooder. I hope the hydro comes back on soon.

It is a slow year here. I normally starts hatching in January. So far I've got 18 chicks from wllady in the big brooder until Monday. Then they move out. Just fired up the big incubator last Sunday with about one hundred eggs. There's btm cochin, silkies, ee, americana, white chants, partridge chant...

At least everything here got snow covered before it got ice covered. I hope that will protect my food plants a bit. We rely on producing our own food. With the extreems in our weather it gets harder every year.

Try table breeding. We never leave our does qith the bucks unsupervised. Does and Bucks can be very aggressive and seriously injure each other.

We have had a really nice Easter weekend. Mudrun on Good Friday for hubby and our son. Egg hunter and Turkey dinner at our Sons Friday evening.
