I do not think you can buy new metal (aluminum) buckets, they are not manufactured any more. We use stainless steel metal hooks and 2nd hand aluminum buckets with metal lids. What Al said. Plus grinding up the food for the first week apparently helps with growth rate as well.

I use Red Lake as well.... reminds me I need to go get some more.
