Several years ago we bought a pre-fab one for the kids, but it stayed with the old house when they moved. The new one is much better. Sturdier, better quality, customized to thier liking, and less then ha...

Re: Good Morning!
Spending lots of quality time with DH. Baling and mowing hay Thursday and Friday. Tagged and tail dockling lambs, castrating and nose ringing piglets today. We love our homesteading life together. I hope you all have a great day. I'm off to the garden.

Hubby and I both vote differently and we have spent 33 years agreeing to disagree on who we each vote for, but we agree that it is important that we always vote.

We'll, today is our first day with fresh milk and creme from my new little cow. Bryony is a sweet little 4 yr old dexter who has never been milked. She is sweet and gentle, until she sees a halter or lead rope, then all bets are off. Good thing she is smallish. I am definatly getting my excersize ev...

Re: Hi, my name is Jan...
I support you, Jan. My name is Wendy and I MAY be a hatchoholic too. I do have two little incubators sitting unplugged and empty beside the 600 egg one that is pretty much full. I have twenty 5-6 wk olds in a tractor out on grass, 150 2-3 wk olds in the big brooder shed. A couple dozen in a big aqua...
