Not really the answer to your question, but I am using the calf hutches like you suggested a while back. I have the ducks and geese in them. It works very well. We made doors for them so I can lock the birds in at night or when I'm not home. Light enough for me to move easily by myself as many time...

I got these in the late summer. They were an import form Holderreads in the USA, bought second hand. This seems to be a hard breed to find in Canada. I think they look pretty good. I raise cots as well. They are great little productive birds. They taste good too! Lots of colours to choose from and they are hardy. I will try to get some pictures of my pens and the birds over the next few days on here.
