Re: This is Winter....how do we know?
Muscovys and roosters in Rubbermaid totes in my kitchen, all the barn cats in the house, and hours of carrying warm water to all the critters. Cutting and hauling firewood to my elderly parents and shoveling them out multiple times over the last few weeks. Yup, it's winter!

Re: Winter Work Gloves
I have Stihl chainsaw gloves with a cheap pair of dollarama fuzzy gloves inside. The Stihl gloves are a bit pricey but this is my third winter with same pair so not to bad. I am amazed how warm my hands stay and I hardly ever have to take off my gloves to do fiddley stuff.

Re: Good Morning!
Another sunny day. I got all the hoof stock dewormed and hoof trimmed yesterday. The farrier did the horses. I have a ...

Re: C.O.P. &G.B.A Fall Auction
A bourbon Jake, a white Chantecler hen, a pair of Ringneck pheasants, and a trio of bobwhites. All things I already have, but prices were good so why not add some genetic diversity?

Re: Bunny opinions wanted.
I dont put in nest boxes much before 27 days gestation and most of mine eat the hay right up until the day before they knidle. Most dont start nest building until the day before they kindle. There is the odd one who builds a nest way in advance but most dont. Good luck.
