Here is the mixed polish/Silkie baby all grown up. She started laying roundish white eggs at 5 months! She is the shiny black one in the back. In the middle here. She has black skin & is booted, like her mom, but smooth and shiny like her dad & has a mini head poof!

Growing quickly! Here are 3 of the 4. #4 was running to quickly to get in the pic. Here is broody mamma with 2 fuzzbutts.

I don't need any more chickens.... so here are the ones that I cannot resist :banana: I would like a bantam Polish lady or 2 - any colour except gold laced or black. I'm also looking for a bantam maran. I would love an odd colour, but the regular are OK too. And I cannot resist Mille Fleurs and Ducc...

I got the eggs from someone else, as I have no Silkie roo. So 'mom' is my broody Silkie who loves to sit on eggs and raise babies. She is excellent. I am hoping that the paints colour up well! The black isn't very dark, so it may be blue. We will see. All I am really hoping for is that they are ALL ...

4/5 hatched. The last egg was abandoned. But here are the little ones all moved into their pen with mom.

New babies!!! There looks to be 3 Paint and one black or blue Silkie! Yay! I love watching them pop in and out underneath my broody gal.
