Wondering if she has a tough of pneumonia, if the rooster stands on her it reduces her breathing and takes her a while to recover. How is her eyesight? Does it seem normal? Yep, she eats that as well as squash anything BUT seeds. And I have to hold it for her. She's not drinking either. So, everything I'm giving her has a water component.

:laugh: I think that may go under "thinking like a chicken" I caught myself standing in the veg department of a grocery store, considering price benefit of different salad components, based on how much of it would be used by us and what part could be chicken treats, or possibly the other way around...

I love Oliver. You caught his eye glint which says "I'm watching you" ! With animals and birds if you can get the eye that helps so much. You caught it in the hen too. I'll bet Facebook has taken over from these types of forums. Lots of chicken related information on DrGoogle as well. And these forums you need to participate in. Get involve . Just my take on it.

Can somebody tell me why my Swedish flower hen decided she was going to be broody today? She had a hard moult this summer of all times... now she's going to be broody......no more eggs from her ......freeloaders are killing me
