Celebration at my house so far... First thought on waking this morning...aahhhh, free day, what shall I do ? So I stripped the beds. and then to make it a well rounded morning, I took a garbage can and a "pooper scooper" and went to collect garbage from the ditches on both sides of the road in front...

I just bought a https://www.slegersgreens.com basil, @ $ 4.99
it will last me until spring, probably more practical way to go for me, I use way too much parsley to be able to grow it, and the rest I am happy to use dry. That bit of green in the kitchen just cheers me up :)

I don't think chickadees wipe their memory every spring, there is a bunch of them looking for the feeder that was here last winter, some have been knocking on the window demanding I put it back
