I also just noticed you said 80% room humidity. Wow thats high and could be a problem. Try no water in the incubator at all. When the chick pips the internal membrane its supposed to be air. Congrats on the journey, we never stop learning. It took me a while to dial in my incubators for chickens/quail/turkeys which seem to all require the same conditions and I gave up trying ducks because I could never get them to hatch. I found the poultry seem to do best with 45% relative humidity dur...

Heck yeah! After 5 weeks of feeding my quail Masterfeeds 28% turkey/gamebird starter they have started to lay! They are also really big and around a Lb, I haven't weighed them recently but I will once they get moved into there new cage. Also after they get moved I will switch the feed to Masterfeeds...

WOW! A little after 5 weeks our quail have started laying! Already! I think this says alot about masterfeeds 28% turkey/gamebird stater!
