Picking tart cherries for the last few days. We pick the lower ones the birds get the rest. I always have my helpers with me and 87 bounces up to get them for the kids, hope they don't get sore tummies! I think this is the most we've ever had.

I also think that a huge problem especially at the beginning was the mixed messages with different authorities saying different things. This confuses people terribly especially the ones who are now frightened little bunnies. There was a canoeist out on the Rideau in a mask and gloves!!! We feel like...

Vehicles have been keyed in BC for having Alberta licence plates and there have been some pretty unpleasant encounters. I don't think it's fair to single out youngsters either, many older don't follow. I don't think the info is there either way to judge.

@Farrier1987 I had a heat problem yesterday with a turkey broody. SHe got on the wrong side of the fence to the kids and got into a stress state. PAnting severely etc. I ended up with ice packs under her wings to cool and calm her. She's OK today but it was a good job I was around!
