Re: Nothing works on vent gleet!
Thanks so much for responding Tom. Did you re-integrate her with the others or keep her separate?

Nothing works on vent gleet!
I guess nobody wanted to admit that a long-standing case of vent gleet must be incurable.
Feeling very fed up that we have wasted over a month, nursing this chicken as best we could .

Vent Gleet
Has anyone had any luck using Fluconazole orally for Vent Gleet? I found a great post by Jaye, and copied it down, thinking that I'd look up dosing after I bought the med, assuming that I could! Turns out that they sell ONE 150 mg capsule for $20! (This hen weighs about 4.8 pounds, so will need 30 m...

I have flower gardens too, but I really love my veggies, and cannot imagine using an AG for them, but people seem to love growing petunias in them!?!?!? Glad the methi pancakes turned out well. It's so...

I haven't actually done this, but I understand that seedlings for the garden are usually left for one month, the...

Re: Aerogarden
The noodles will be fine for the basils :). I'm finding that other plants (like tomatoes and even bush beans) need a bit more support around the base. Parsley is nice for salads and tabuleh. Maybe plant it in the garden for the butterflies. If you drink herb tea, mint is great for that, but it's inv...

Re: Aerogarden
The 3" ones fit wide-mouth mason jars, so I don't know what went wrong there. Perhaps you will find a 1 gallon jar that the large net pot will fit. The pool noodle should be fine. I would wrap the noodle around the grow sponge and making sure that the bottom of the grow sponge is sitting in 1/4" of ...
