I bought a kit containing 4 metal hoops and plastic covering from the Dollar Store, and used some Reemay that I already had, in an attempt to discourage the cuke beetles. It worked, but it also discouraged me from uncovering everything to pick cukes because it wa...

Re: a DOG dilema........

Nope looks like an English cream golden retriever, a really nice one at that. That is if that is really that dogs picture or one they took off the internet. I have researched the golden retrievers well and the English cream has a longer life expectancy with fewer incidences of cancer. Plus a lot of...

Re: a DOG dilema........

Since I started "sort of" looking, I have come across few things that didn't add up, one of them checking posters "other ads" revealed many other breeds for sale..... Even some breeders, although the website looked promising, double checking for independent reviews showed some real problems. Wish i...

Re: a DOG dilema........

I think humane societies have gotten ridiculous but then so are some of the people adopting. I know of a girl who got a puppy and is mad because it pees and poops in it's crate when left in it for 8-10 hours. I can't believe how stupid she is and flat out told her it's a baby, no baby can hold it t...

Re: Selling eggs for raw dog foos

I do believe that would work. I remember hearing about people selling raw milk to "dog breeders who needed it to raise orphaned pups".

Re: a DOG dilema........

We visited a breeder ten years ago. She had bred goldens and labs for years, but told us she would no longer breed goldens because cancer was so rampant in the breed. She didn't have any pups or a suitable older dog for us at the time :(. I joined a forum for Labrador breeders at the time, so that I...

Re: a DOG dilema........

Regal Goldens looks like a fabulous breeder, and they raw feed toboot!!!! I don't know much about Goldens, but those heads look more lab-like than what I'm used to seeing in Goldens and I like the look :).
