OK, I had a senior moment there, thinking you were lifting DH (Dear Hubby) of the roost and was wondering what kind of trouble he was in, before I realized it was HD (Handsome Dude) on the roost and not DH, who I am pretty sure would have been struggling at least a bit. ;)

Well, turns out I have ducks. Kathy's post reminded me of my two wooden ducks, that I purchased about 30 years ago from a Craft person, before I ever thought about having poultry. Or perhaps they were in my future, I just didn't know it yet? The reason I purchased the large one is because it is high...

I am still sitting on that one, unless they can make the process highly automated and test very early in the embryo development stage, still boggles mind somewhat.

Just a heads up, the Lavenders seem to be more delicate, so if you can get local eggs, great, with shipped eggs the survival is probably going to be pretty low.
