What a spoiled pooch! {LOL}

:hide: Yes, he is.
In our defense, we steam up a bunch of eggs at a time for lunches, so it's not a special prep thing.

Okay, thanks for the info nugget - good to know. I always feed my dog steamed eggs, so it's a non-issue here.

Re: Fairy Fart

Lovely little egg, TomK. Nice colour too! Congrats! [...] I read up about these little eggs and learned that they only contain albumen - interesting. Guess I cannot palm one off on the dogs...... Sometimes they contain a tiny yolk too, but usually if they are very small, it's egg white only. If you ...

Re: Good Morning!

OC, Killerbunny, and WWW may have had power outages and not have power back yet.
Glad you're okay, @Skinny rooster .

Re: Dropped dead

An Epsom salts bath soak (AKA the spa treatment) sometimes helps. It helped our Twyla when she had trouble passing a lash egg.

Re: Time for a WebCam

I agree - very intelligent and difficult to trap. We had them in the coop a few years back too. We caught a couple in traps the first few days, then nothing - they got smart. We had to resort to poison, and flooding the entries we found before blocking them off. It's best if you go at them with ever...

Re: Good Morning!

Morning all ... yes, very nice visit with Jan and Tom last night (thanks again for the tomatillos, Jan). I picked up three adorable little Brabanter chicks as well. On the drive home I wound up having to turn on the car heater to keep them warm enough to quiet them down: apparently the passenger sea...
