I think anything to get rid of the underbrush that is supporting the fires is a really good thing! Try a tin of wet cat food in the skunk trap-punch a hole in the unopened tin all the way through the tin with a nail and then run a piece of wire through it and wire the tin to the top far inside corner of the trap. Worked like a charm for me for skunks and coons. They can't dump...
