I am working outside today......getting things ready for yet another dump of snow: Making more nesting areas for my fabulous Embden Geese. Feeding and checking for eggs with the ducks: Yes got ducks! Compared to a Jersey Giant ,,,,fast
Compared to my line of RIR....fast
Compared to egg laying breeds...slower

It will can take 9 month for the males to see what is generally there. and about 28 weeks for the females to start laying ( generally)

My 9 month old male. He has a great front end. Spot on BUT the back in is a bit weak. Just a bit pinched but the angle is great.
He just placed Reserve Land Fowl at the show this weekend. And now he is in the breeding Pen.

Thank you Troy, I had them on my list to contact. Was curious if there were others. I was planning on a California trip in 2020..........so........you never know. Of course they are difficult to raise! Seem like I alway pick these breeds...lol Then bang my head on the wall for enjoyment. But, I love...

I know there are a few flocks in Ontario. I would love to learn more about these geese.
