Re: End of an era.
My boss just sold last april. I cried when I cleaned the parlour for the last time. We use the cows as nurse cows and raise veal now. Quota is a the only thing keeping Canadian Dairy Farmer afloat in my opinion. Hydro, fuel and feed are through the roof, equipment is astronomical. I bought 1 cow and...

Scammers seem to really like to hide behind thier screens. My sister almost got scammed for a Boston Terrier puppy up that way la...

Re: Chicken Buyer Etiquette 101
Tis the season for sellers to rant about buyers. Don't take it to heart and FB is the worst! I left all the FB Pages and my blood pressure is wondefful now. Even if you fimd a great breeder with wonderful pullets, anything can happen when you bring them home. Everything will be different for them. W...

I would want a chicken that was Liver Chestnut. Its my favorite colour in horses because they almost always shine and alwaysnlook clean. Maybe Inam just sick of white ponies, white rabbits, and white chickens? I guess thats a pretty boring wish, but thats mine. The tuxedo colouration sounds nice too...

This should stir the GM pot....

When the big guys are breeding in the thousands and we are breeding in the hundreds (if that) per year, we are ...
