Re: Sticker Shock!

I was noticing that too, even seeds are high priced.

Re: what's up?

IMG_2868.jpgShe is sitting on a roost inside the coop part, above the window on the left. We left a gap at the top for ventilation. Just asking, the gap is proofed with small hardware cloth or similar? No it's not she couldn't get through it, just her head. The coop is totally predator proofed.

Re: new coop

We put plastic up for the winter to keep the snow and wind out. I lift the plastic up on nice days but its closed again because of the temperature drop. The plastic will come off once spring weather finally comes.

myotonic(fainter) goat breeder?

Looking to purchase a doeling or two this year. Does anyone know of a good small scale breeder that tests and vaccinates in Ontario?

what's up?

I left a gap at the top of the coop for ventilation so now when I walk in at roosting time I get to see this and it makes me laugh every darn time! Just wanted to share!

Re: Good Morning - 2023

Good morning! I am deciding on which chicken breeds I will buy in the spring. Due to old age and a hawk attack I am down to 3 orpington hens. Is there a nice breed that would blend well with my breed? I was looking at rhodebar, scarlet

Re: incubators canada??

Thank you so much for the replies and suggestions! I'm not sure what I am looking for. I guess one that would hold at least 12 eggs and would be suitable for duck eggs. Automatic turner and not a still air.
