Thanks for all the help...I'll keep you updated. A question though I think she would be happier with them alone....should I move her to the other coop first before trying with the chick's. Or should I see if there is any interest in the chick's first before I even bother with the private suite? .lol

Thanks OC. The new broody is the black hen you sold me 2 years ago. ..maybe I'll find a way to get a bunch in there and near her to see her reaction...I have a small crate that should do the trick

I have a newly broody hen about 4 to 7 days now....And my chicks are just about 2 weeks. I have a separate smaller coop for the chick's when they're ready to go out. But I thought maybe I could put them out early with the broody hen? Any opinions based on the information? THANKS ALL

Hi everyone!...just wondering when you would suggest putting the chick's on pine shavings....they are almost 6 days old and right now I have shavings covered with paper towels...any opinions? Thanks
