Darn stuff hapens for no real reason. Doing chores this morning and horse stepped on a half grown chick from eggs I got from WLL, was developing into a nice bird. Skorshed it. Couldn't have been a cockerel if it had to happen, no.

Neighbor asked me to post this. Nicely tooled 12" kids saddle, padded seat. Rawhide tree. Screwed and riveted, not stapled. I also found that when I tried the bedding shavings wrapped in plastic there was a very strong resinous smell. I went back to paper wrapped and didn't use the plastic one I had for chicks. Seems to me wrapping plastic would defeat the purpose. That was whyI suggested and old onion sack. Just thinki...
