Bees and Stress Aid

I always keep enough buckets refilled from my barn well to do at least 1 round of watering in case power goes out (well is a distance from the barn & it's a pain to haul that many buckets back and forth if power is out or pump dies) Anyway, my bees are ALWAYS ringing the bucket rims-they like the bl...

Buckeyes- first show of the season

23877 23875 nice work la-chicken! I am concentrating on breadth this year for my stock. I have good low pea combs and yellow legs so Ethan's last suggestions for me were to concentrate on length & breadth of body frame. Adding some of Lay stock a few years back helped a lot. Good morning! We got prob 1/2 inch rain some time during the night but all it did was leave little puddles in leaves in the yard for the wild birds and my bees to drink from (I leave lots of water out for bees but saw some wild ones today). The ground is bone dry under the leaves. Hubby left truck w...

One of the ones I got was by catching it in the turkey's rain barrel. It has a heavy lid but I'd been getting water for the cats and forgot to cover it over, just the one day! That coon's unlucky day.
