Re: single hen

They lay their eggs in the garage, poop on the front porch, eat and drink in their cage, and wander about the rest of the time. This will have to change when it becomes colder.

Re: single hen

So, I got a new hen. Now they won't go into their cage at night, and I can't find their eggs.

Re: single hen

The white one escaped, I couldn't catch her, 3 days later, only feathers.

Re: WATERER WARNING

Can someone reccomend a good waterer? The silly hens empty the bowl every day. Is there an automatic one available? I must leave town for a few days and am worried for them.

Townsend Lake

Hello: Just picked up a red and a white from Pullets Plus. They are frightened, especially when my Poodle barks at them. I have had hens since 2012, but quit because of the nasty neighbours and varmints. maybe the poodle will protect them. cheers, Jack
