I read this on a webpage about cochins. "The one exception to the cochin’s friendly personality are bantam cochin roosters, who can be a little cocky and territorial." Is there any reason other than selectively breeding for aggressive or friendly chickens for a bantam to be less friendly?

Chick plans... I am thinking of a large fenced area with fishing line across it. I saw this on YouTube. Not sure if this is a waste of.time and fishing line and possibly Lab will eat fishing line? Run can also be used for our Lab but Lab will eat the chicken poop. So either need to teach the Lab to ...

So i heard this loud clatter bang scratch slide bang scratch etc. and i was wondering what landed on our steel roof. I look up and there was a full grown bald eagle
on the gutter. It flew south but now I'm seriously debating whether the cochins should free range..

When you say bits of dandelion flower. Do you mean cut the flower into very small pieces e.g., like garlic? So there is a mix of buff cochin and lemon barred cochin. The breeder said there is alot of paperwork to transport eggs to Canada and it's expensive but she has done this. She called the cochi...

The smaller ones are 1 week old and the larger ones are 2 weeks old...I don't see anything wrong with feeding grass, as long as they are not eating mainly grass then they probably...
