if any hatch will be thrilled...shipped from AB to me in ON...incubator came day before....I've done everything wrong and she sent 18 eggs and bator at most could do 10 that size...I think I have pips.....being a dog breeder it will be so hard for me not to help.... quick update :) 10 of the 13 that went into lockdown hatched (I knew 2 of the 3 were questionable to even try as they had been dented and waxed, one I heard chirping but
) 5 of each. Next time will only put in 10 eggs :D (one of the girls not in the photo)

it would depend on where you are and the ground the birds are going to. Also how clean is their area etc. Coccidia can kill or more so the bloody stools and dehydration can kill...why would you not prevent it and slowly build up resistance?

very interesting this topic...I have put a bitch with a false pregnancy and full mother instinct ...gave her 2 rescues. Timing is quite different in dogs but would have a hard time with putting a hen on a different clutch when she left her own....mind you most of my dogs whelp in my bedroom so what ...

Was so warm my puppies used one of their outdoor bed to shade under...most just stayed inside...even my chicken chose to go inside...soon shade will come and tolerance I'm just glad they can figure it out

Sorry if this has been covered. I am looking to get an incubator but just for myself and a small programme. I am looking to have eggs shipped but more so for my own programme down the road. Total noob on it all and would love some advice, not just incubators but size and hatching and brooder space. ...

Great news :) My mother and Aunt have bred golden retrievers for over 55 years now :) Myself I prefer the naughty Irish Setters even if they push my limits at times...never a dull day.
