Another baby Patagonian Cavy. This boy was born yesterday January 21st. His name is Elvis.

I don't know what they are called but adorable defines him!

I know @JimW but what are they? :) haha . Rodent? Marsupials?

Sandy they are a rather large, 35lb rodent from southern South America. like giant guinea pig rabbits.

And just what does one do with a Cavy?. .besides rebuild the walls of its pen every so often...lol :running-chicken:

They make great pets. I bottle raised the mother so she will sleep inside on the couch with me. But they sure can chew.
